From start to finish, the winter in Toronto this year was six months long. Now that the warm weather is finally here, I have been on the hunt for some cute and versatile summer dresses to carry me through the season – and I want to share some of my finds with you! Read on to find out what summer dresses I’ll be rocking over the next few months.
The WRAP DRESS for WEEKEND WEAR
I picked up this adorable blue wrap dress from the Gap. I find wrap dresses to be so flattering and they always fit really well. You know that feeling when you try on a dress in multiple sizes and each size fits one of your body parts correctly and another part incorrectly? That doesn’t ever happen with a wrap dress. I think it’s perfect for all shapes and sizes, and is especially great for hiding a food baby. Although I often like to flaunt my food babies. I’m not ashamed!
I paired the dress with a floppy sun hat from Forever 21, this white tassel crossbody bag from Indigo, and these mules from Aldo. I think this look is perfect for gallivanting through the city on a beautiful summer weekend.

The FLARE DRESS for a SUMMER WEDDING
Whether you’re a bridesmaid or a guest, this dreamy, pink flare dress is what I would wear to a summer wedding. I also wore it to an awards show in April. There’s even a tulle underlay that makes it feel very princess-like.

Love all of these dresses… especially the last one – you look like an actual princess!! Such good ideas for summer. How are those mules for comfort? I’ve had a horrible experience with mules assaulting my feet by the end of a night.
I honestly love all these dress styles so much but right now I’m REALLY feeling the wrap dresses. They look SO flattering on literally any shape. The only problem is some of them are a little risque in the wind LOL

Haha, wind is the worst ever! I agree that the wrap dress style is everything to me right now. Such a perfect fit. 🙂
